The Leaps and Heights Graduate Award Scheme (LHGAS), launched on July 1, 2024, by Leaps and Heights Services Limited, UK, is a social impact initiative supporting sustainability education. The Graduate Award Scheme aims to scout and develop talent to address climate-induced challenges by recognizing and awarding outstanding students in sustainability-focused programs, particularly in developing countries.
LHGAS celebrates students’ achievements at graduation ceremonies, promoting hard work, inspiring careers in sustainability, and enhancing their visibility to support professional and academic advancement.

Memorandum of Understanding
In 2024, Leaps and Heights Services Limited, UK, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the University of Environment and Sustainable Development (UESD) to officially launch the Leaps and Heights Graduate Award Scheme (LHGAS). This partnership provides a shared commitment for recognizing and celebrating outstanding students in sustainability-focused programs. The goal of this partnership is to inspire academic excellence, encourage careers in sustainability, and empower graduates to become leaders in addressing environmental and climate challenges.

Professor Hinson is the Pro Vice-Chancellor of Ghana Communication Technology University. Maxwell was also awarded the Ing. Dr. Kenneth Ashigbey Prize for being the Overall Best-Performing Graduating Student in Environmental and Public Health (BSc). Dr. Ashigbey is the CEO of the Ghana Chamber of Telecommunications.

Nana Abena Gyamfi Kyewaa has received the Dr. Samanjith Udumalagala Prize for being the Overall Best-Performing Graduating Student in Sustainable Development (BSc). Dr. Udumalagala is the Apex Chief Operating Officer of the Jospong Group of Companies.
